Enhancing Outdoor Spaces with Prefabricated Swimming Pools
Prefabricated swimming pools are rapidly becoming a popular choice for homeowners and builders alike, thanks to their numerous advantages. Electric VS Wood-Burning VS Infrared Sauna Heaters: Which Suits Your Project?
There are three main sauna heater technologies: electric, wood-burning and infrared, varying in heat output, application and costs. Electric sauna heaters are widely used for indoor and commercial projects. They heat stones to generate steam, feature precise temperature and timer control with broad power options. Wood-burning models work without mains power, perfect for off-grid cabins yet require chimneys and regular maintenance. Infrared heaters warm bodies directly with no steam and lower power draw, delivering a different sauna experience. Electric units dominate commercial sites thanks to automatic operation, stable temperature and easy maintenance. Select suitable heater type based on location, room volume and available power supply.
Sauna Heater Sizing Guide: How Many kW Does Your Sauna Room Need?
Proper sauna heater sizing ensures fast, stable heating and long service life. Sizing is calculated by internal room volume, with a standard baseline of 1kW per cubic metre. Upgrade the power rating for heavy glazing, uninsulated walls, cold installation environments, ceilings over 2.4m, and frequent commercial use. Avoid minimal sizing, which causes continuous full-load operation, frequent cycling and premature failure. Heater power determines electrical requirements: low-power units use 220–240V single-phase, while higher models require 380–415V three-phase. Our heaters cover 2.5kW–27kW for diverse room sizes. Avoid common mistakes like incorrect pre-cladding measurement, poor door sealing and insufficient stone capacity.
