Product introduction
Pool sand filter is mainly used in swimming pools, water parks, hot springs, industrial wastewater treatment, seawater aquaculture, and drinking water pretreatment scenarios. The core function is to purify water bodies through filter media such as quartz sand.
The main styles of swimming pool sand tanks include Top-Mounted, Side-Mounted, Horizontal Type, Deep Bed Filter, and commercial reinforced types.
Main Functions:
1.Physical filtration: Using quartz sand layers to intercept suspended particles larger than 20 μ m in water (such as sediment, algae, and hair), significantly improving water quality.
2.Biological filtration support: Beneficial bacterial communities (such as nitrifying bacteria) can naturally form on the surface of the sand layer, decomposing harmful ammonia nitrogen and nitrite in water and assisting in maintaining ecological stability of the water body.
3.Chemical adsorption assistance: When combined with activated carbon or AFM activated filter media, it can adsorb residual chlorine, heavy metal ions, and organic pollutants, enhancing the comprehensive purification ability.
4.Circulating pressurization and flow equalization: working in conjunction with the water pump to form a complete water circulation system, avoiding dead corners in the water body and ensuring even distribution of disinfectants.
5.Backwash regeneration: By regularly backwashing (Backwash) to remove the dirt trapped in the filter layer, the filtration efficiency is restored, and the service life of the filter material is extended to more than 10 years.
