Sauna Heater Safety Explained: Temperature Limits, Timers and Automatic Cut-Off
Sauna heaters are high-power electrical appliances working in hot humid spaces, so multiple safety features are essential. The SAB-90H supports 50–110°C temperature setting, equipped with session timer (30min–12h) and independent automatic cut-off. Protective guard and required installation clearances prevent contact burns. Correct voltage matching, qualified circuit protection and heat-resistant cables are mandatory for electrical safety. Dry-run protection safeguards heating elements. Different markets require distinct certifications: cTUVus/ETL for North America, CE+RoHS for EU, diamond PSE for Japan. Our sauna heaters hold these certificates plus over fifty test reports. Buyers should check temperature range, dual timer system, guard rules, voltage fit and valid market certifications before purchase and ask for official certification documents.

External VS Internal Control Sauna Heaters: What the Difference Means on Site
The sauna heater control system, often finalized late in design yet prone to on-site issues, comes in internal and external types. Internal controls mount on the heater inside the sauna room, ideal for small private saunas with simple wiring but exposed to high heat and humidity. External controls use an outside panel connected via control cable, preferred for most commercial projects; it allows outdoor adjustment, remote pre-heating and longer service life, though cable routing must be planned before wall cladding. Our SAB series external controllers offer dial, digital or APP options. Key panel features include wide temperature range, sufficient timer capacity and clear status readout for both private and commercial sauna applications.

Sauna Stones Explained: How Much Stone, What Type, and Why It Matters
Sauna stones are critical for generating sustained steam in sauna heaters. The stone mass stores heat; pouring water on hot stones creates steam, while insufficient or over-packed stones impair performance. Our SAB-90H heater requires 18–22 kg of qualified sauna stones. Only igneous sauna stones like olivine and peridotite can resist thermal shock. Garden stones and river pebbles are unsafe. Correct basket packing, regular maintenance and timely replacement prevent cracking and element overheating. Stone capacity must be evaluated together with heater kW when selecting sauna equipment. Send your sauna room size for matching recommendations.
